Parking

There is limited parking at the garden entrance, and it is likely to fill because the garden is open to public.

You may use the overflow lot at Reed College at SE 28th and Steele—a .4 mile walk from the entrance.

From the gate

Mention that you are there for the Leach and McKinley wedding for free entrance.

Follow the signs to ceremony and reception site at The Meadow. This is a leisurely 6 minute walk with a few gentle inclines, though you may want to allow yourself more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Accessibility

There is an alternate entrance closer to The Meadow if you need a shorter walk to the venue. You may find this overview of the walk through the garden helpful.

Schedule

Arrival time—12:30pm

For coffee, drinks, snacks, and mingling

Ceremony start—1:00pm sharp

There will be plenty of comedic improvisers in attendance, so Tricia recommends being on time to the ceremony. Please allow 5–10 minutes for a walk from the entrance gate to The Meadow, in addition to time for parking.

Reception—2:00pm

The ceremony and reception are in the same location. We will eat brunch, and then enjoy the afternoon together. Feel free to enjoy the garden grounds around the Meadow during the reception.

We expect to wrap up by around 5:00pm.

What should I wear?

Garden party attire—similar to cocktail dress. We love color :)

We will be outside for the duration in a grass meadow, so plan accordingly for the weather—in September in Oregon that could be rain or a heat wave.

The short ceremony will be in sun if we have it that day. We will eat under a shaded tent and umbrellas, and there are trees that shade the venue in the afternoon.
